Success Story: Hair Salon Franchise in MI

Meet Brian Czopek, a downsized Michigan engineer about to experience his up-side potential as a Great Clips salon owner.

Brian graduated from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo—yes, there is a Kalamazoo—with a degree in manufacturing technology. Most recently he was a business development manager for SABIC Innovative Plastics (formerly GE Plastics).

He wants to “make the decisions and enjoy a good work/life balance.” He’ll have all that and more with Great Clips. Brian’s wife, Christie, has a master’s in school administration and will continue to pursue her career as a high school teacher. The Czopeks look forward to spending more time with their two young boys as they expand from five to seven salons over the next 10 years. Brian also hopes to find time for photography, reading, fishing, and curing his golf affliction. FranNet consultant Mark Cory matched Brian Czopek, to Great Clips!
