Business cards are an important tool and should have with you at all times. If you meet someone, handing a business card is the best way to get your information to that person right away.
The first step to make sure your business card looks sharp but still lists all the needed information. It can be difficult to squeeze all that info into a small place however do not clutter the card either. You need to list your name, address, phone numbers, email, website, company logo, and a company description such as a tagline or what you can do. Avoid adding extra lines of quotes or graphics which can clutter the card. Use the back for extra information or use a double card design if needed. Leave “white space” thought incase the person wants to jot down a date or note about you.
Now you have a great business card, now you have to have them with you. Place some in your office, car, briefcase, laptop bag, purse, the reception area etc. You will want to store your business card where they do not get bent or torn. Also make sure to keep your supply well stocked and not to run out. If your contact information changes then have new cards printed right away.
Once you meet someone, make sure to hand them a card. This should become a key part in your routine. Make sure to not be pushy with your business card so ask the person for their card and they should in return ask for yours or have yours ready to hand them.
It’s now time to start handing out your cards like candy! You have to look at business cards as small billboards for you and you want as many people as possible to see your card. Start placing business cards in all correspondence you mail. Don’t forget to place card on community boards and even free lunch contests. You never know who may see it that day or save it to pass along to a friend.

Awesome, that’s exactly what I was scanning for! You just spared me alot of digging around
