FranNet has a long history of being “franchise matchmakers” for those who want to look at alternatives to a corporate career. I have been fortunate to work as a FranNet consultant, and to learn about the importance of our process in making the right “match” for our clients.
During its 25 year history, FranNet has integrated the latest psychological research to really get into the minds of clients, to ensure the best franchise match possible. The client assessment tools we use are top-notch and a really important part of finding a franchise for clients.
When I work with a client personally, I want them to know that they are not just going through the motions when they complete our online assessment. This process is key in helping me find the right franchise based on the information they share with me.
FranNet works with skilled professionals with backgrounds in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, better known as NLP. In addition, as FranNet consultants, we go through extensive training to understand the results of the client assessments. We then use that detailed information to select the best matching franchises for clients to research.
I find that I use a mix of the assessment results and a good amount of intuition. As a FranNet consultant, I use the results of the assessment to uncover franchise options for my clients, but I don’t solely rely on them. There isn’t a magic formula for finding the right franchise based on assessment results alone. We also have to use a little instinct to do our matching. That is what makes FranNet consultants so valuable to our clients.
During the franchise research process, we also use other powerful assessment tools to help our clients understand what is important to them when searching for a business.
Ultimately, the decision to buy a franchise has to be that of the client. I can’t do it for them, but I can guide them through it. Sometimes, the answer is no. Many clients go through my process only to realize that they don’t want to invest in a franchise or own a business after all. That’s okay too.
This is an emotional process for some and it can help to clarify what is really important to them. I want this to be a helpful experience for my clients. That’s really the type of service I want to provide.
